How often are events updated?
Currently we are refreshing our event data every 24 Hours from 12:01 am AEST
What are the TBC events on the site?
We are working with Auscycling to get all their State & National Rounds added to ATDW. In the short term we have added National Championships, National Series & some State Series events.
Why are some events not showing up on The Start List?
We only display events that have been added to the Australian Data Warehouse and as such we are reliant on individual clubs and event organisers to add all their events.

My Event is not showing up under its discipline
Currently we have to manually tag events by discipline as there is no way to add that through ATDW. This is done every 2-3 days so there may be a time lag with new events.
We are working with ATDW to add this feature however in the short term, please include your events discipline in the description so if its not obvious we can add that for you.
How much does it cost to list my event on The Start List
Its totally free to list your event on our site.
You can opt to promote your event if you want more exposure through one of our event marketing plans
My event has been cancelled how do I remove it?
Its super easy to update your event through ATDW 24/7.
Simply remove or un publish your event inside your account and the next time we update our data we’ll remove your event.
Why is my event on the Start List?
The Start List “distributes” events directly from the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW).
If your event is on ATDW then it is added to our site.
I don’t want my event shown on the start list
Thats no problem at all, send us an email through our contact page and we’ll remove you from our site.
Removal from our site does not remove you from ATDW
My event date has changed
Its super easy to update your event through ATDW 24/7.
Simply change the date of your event inside your account and the next time we update our data we’ll update everything for you automatically.
What happens when our event is over?
ATDW automatically expires events once they have gone past their end date. Your event is then removed from the site the next time we update our data.
We’ve updated our event but its not updated on The Start List
Please allow 24 hours for changes to appear.
How do I submit an event?

I’ve added an event to ATDW but its not showing up?
Your event should appear on our site if the following criteria is met:
Step One – Your organiser profile and event has been approved by ATDW
Step Two – Its been 24-48 Hours from when your listing went public on ATDW
Step Three – Your event includes the words Mountain Bike plus your discipline in the description
If its still not appearing please buzz us an email via our contact page
I don’t want to create an ATDW account can I email our event?
No sorry, ATDW is a no brainer and it exposes your event and organisations to thousands.

You’ve used an image of our’s on your site
If we see an awesome image we feel really showcases what we love about mountain biking we may feature that on our site from time to time. We do however always credit the event or event organiser. If we have omitted to do this, it is totally un-intensional and please get in touch with us as we’ll gladly remove the image or make sure the credit is given where the credit is due!

Where is the start button On The Submit Events Form?
The submit an event button appears when you have selected 100% of the event criteria checkboxes.
Is Event Submision open to non Australian events?
The Start List is for Australian events only currently.
Do Events Have to Be Cycling Related?
Yes they do.
Whats the approval process For Submitted Events?
We check everything you have submitted to make sure its relevant to the start list.
Do you let us know if its approved
If we have a question about your event we may contact you beforehand otherwise we’ll email you if your event is approved.
Can I submit multiple images or Video?
You can only submit one image. If you want to add more, we recommend using ATDW to submit your events as there is more functionality available to you
Can We Edit our Listing Once Submitted?
If you need to edit your listing you can email us and we will make the necessary changes. If you think you will need to update your listing we recommend using ATDW to submit your events.
Is there a booking button like on the ATDW listings?
You can use the website link as a booking link. If you want to add more buttons, we recommend using ATDW to submit your events as there is more functionality available to you
Our event repeats every week/month can we still add it?
We only support one-off events currently. We recommend using ATDW to submit your events as there is more functionality available to you including repeating and regular events.
